IT common process for a specific
project follows different steps, pertaining to the size and number
of people assigned to complete the tasks.
In most cases, a project starts with the concept or ideea acceptance.
In case of a specific customer, this would start with the customer
requirements outline.
Once the requirements have been gathered, and the concept accepted,
the project initiation phase starts, followed by baselining the requirements,
preliminary and detail design sign-off, unit, system and integration
test completions.
Successful code implementation into production is usually followed
by post-implementation roll-outs(releases) and lessons learned.
The process can be as detailed as necessary, based on the project
needs and size.
